Kate Klimist
The magic of creating has felt second nature to Kate as she grew up in the theatre, dancing and singing on stage starting at 5 years old. She graduated from Pepperdine University where she was a Theatre major with an Acting emphasis, allowing her to explore film and television as well as theatre, dance and vocal performance. She had the opportunity to star in multiple musicals including South Pacific and Big Fish.
She is most proud of the impact that theatre can bring on audience members, particularly young kids who see the shows. To get to hear enamored kids talk about how magical a theatrical experience was for them is why she does what she does. She has explored that passion through teaching acting classes for kids at her hometown theatre in Texas. Her favorite part of teaching watching her students experience the “aha!” moment spark.
Kate loves Nora Ephron, gardening and can cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner from memory. She has a black lab named Hallie and a sassy mess of a cat named Sophie.
She is currently seeking representation across the board.
